  1. Heat a frying pan on medium heat.
  2. Add chickpea flour, atta to a medium sized mixing bowl. Add water a little at a time, whisking until smooth and fairly runny like a crepe batter.
  3. Add onion, ginger, cilantro and spices. Whisk to combine.
  4. Add a little oil to the pan and use a ladle to add batter to the the pan, using the bottom of the ladle moving in a circular direction to spread into a large circle.
  5. Wait until the top is nearly dry, then flip and cook the remaining side.
  6. Repeat with rest of batter – to make approximately 12 Chila.
